Chris is a native to the Nashville music scene and has played extensively with the likes of Keith Urban, Kenny Loggins, and Shania Twain, to name a few. He is also a critical piece in "The Alternators" - a Nashville session-player based group.
Chris recently picked up his Morrison Stagemaster at the Dallas International Guitar Festival and has already made use of it on several recording sessions. Chris informed us that his Stagemaster quickly became a part of his "Top 3" among his vast collection of fine guitars.
One particular feature that is very intriguing about the Stagemaster line is the number of pickup combinations that are available. It is not uncommon to see a single coil paired with a humbucker.
Chris's guitar employs a Filtertron in the neck position, accompanied by a vintage-style alnico 5 single in the bridge. Pickup output is taken into consideration when pairing pickups together, giving the player a smooth transition from one pickup to another.
